Saturday 14, August 2010 Trail Ride at Laurel Hill Wildlife Mgt. Area
Time: 10:00
– 2:00
Food: Bring saddle bag snacks or sandwiches and
a drink to eat on the
trail
Directions: From
Lawrenceburg, TN, go West on Hwy 64 for 12 miles,
turn right on 240, go 5 miles
and turn left on 241 (there will be a small
brown and yellow sign for Laurel
Hill), go 1 mile and turn left on VFW Rd. (another Laurel Hill sign should be
there), go ½ mile and turn right on Finnie
Rd (1st dirt road), go a
mile or so and the parking lot/trail head will be on
your right.
Ride Difficulty: Moderate, with a few difficult
sections. Beautiful
wooded ride along
creeks and Laurel
Hill Lake
and plenty of watering spots for the horses along the way.

Saturday 11, September 2010 Trail Ride at Wheeler Wildlife
Refuge
Time: 11:00 – 2:00
Food: Bring saddle bag snacks or sandwiches and
a drink to eat on the
trail
Directions: From
Interstate 565, take exit #5, go to the red light and turn south on County Line Road. Go 5 ¾ miles and turn left on Jolly B road
(Just past big white house on left). Go
½ mile and turn left on gravel road at the Wheeler Wildlife sign. Parking area will be about ½ mile on the right. Once the small parking area is full we will
have to park down the edges of
the road leaving enough room for others to
pass.
Ride Difficulty: Easy ride, mainly shady, grave road base – We
will be
taking the 8 mile loop on the east side of the refuge. For those that want to continue on a greater
adventure there is also another 12 mile loop.
Saturday 09, October 2010 Trail Ride at Copley farm and TVA land
Time: 11:00
– 1:30
Food: Bring saddle bag snacks or sandwiches and
a drink to eat on the
trail
Directions: Take 72
W from Athens
to Rogersville, about 25 miles. Cross
over Elk River bridge continue another 3 3/4
miles into Rogersville. Turn
Left at red light. McDonalds is on the corner.
Continue for 2 1/2 miles and
turn Left on Co Rd 605. (There is a blue county
road sign on the right, just prior to the turnoff) Continue for 1 mile, pass
Little Zion Cemetery in curve. Copley driveway is third on Left pass the
cemetery. Paved driveway approx 0.5 mile, come around house and continue to
barn and park in back pasture. Watch for
blue and white Cowboys for Christ flags.

Saturday 13, November 2010 Camp out and Trail Ride at KC’s Ranch Horse Camp
Time: Ride
11:00 – 3:00, followed by Lunch/Entertainment/Auction/Door Prizes, Afternoon/Evening ride if desired
This weekend at KC’s is the 6th
Annual Cowboy Up for a Cure,
Cancer Fundraiser sponsored by Family Security
credit Union.
Price: $25 for Day Rider, $25 for Campsite $10
Covered Stall $5 for
stock panel.
Food: Lunch on Saturday is included in price of
admission. We will have a group meal and
devotion around the camp site Friday and Saturday night for those that choose
to camp.
Directions: From
down-town Moulton, take Hwy 33 South for 21.5
miles, turn right (West) on Hwy
2. Go 2 ¾ miles and turn left on county
road 47. Turn left at the KC signs. Go in front of house and up the hill to
the
parking area.
Ride Difficulty: Moderate overall (Difficult in just a few
places)
If you plan on Camping: Please make your own camping reservations as
soon as possible (tell Ken or Carol that you are with the Cowboys for
Christ
group), this event will completely fill up the camp sites and primitive

Saturday 04, December 2010 Arena Fun Day and CHRISTmas Party at Limestone County Sheriff’s Rodeo Arena and
Banquet Room
Time: 1:00
– 7:00 P.M. We will ride in the arena
from 1:00 – 4:30,
Eat and fellowship 5:00 – 7:00
Food: Bring your favorite Chili, Soup, or Stew
and a dessert and drinks
for your family.
Ride Activates: We will have barrel racing, pole bending,
trail class,
spoon and egg race and other activities inside the arena. This is just for fun and will be for all ages
and experience levels.
Other Activities: We will
play “Dirty Santa”, if you would like to
participate, please bring a horse or
farm related gift ($15 limit).
