Saturday 16, January 2010 Trail Ride at Rails to Trails (Piney Chapel - South End)
Time: 11:00 – 2:00
Food: Bring saddle bag snacks or sandwiches and a drink to eat on the trail
Directions:
From Athens, go 3 miles North of the courthouse on HWY 127 (Jefferson
St.), turn right on Piney Chapel Road (Just before Uncle Buds
convenience store) and go ¼ mile. The trail head and
parking will be on your left
Ride Difficulty: Easy ride, mainly shady, fine grave road base

February There is no organized ride scheduled for the month of February. The monthly meeting will be on Thursday 04 Feb.

Saturday 13, March 2010 Trail Ride and Campout at Fay Whittemore Farms
Time: 11:00 – 3:00
Cost: $15 for
day riders, $15 for camp site, $5 for paddock close to camp site.
Call Whittemore Farms for reservations if you plan on camping Friday or
Saturday night. Tell them to group you with “Cowboys for
Christ.”

Directions:
South on I-65 to exit 299. Turn right (West) on Hwy 69 and go 21
miles. Turn right on Burrows Crossing Road and go 1 mile.
Turn left on Forrester Road (Co. Hwy 51) and go 1 ¼ miles.
The facilities will be on your left. You can follow the signs
from Hwy 69.
